Winter Appointments
Winter Operations: All motorized watercraft require inspection and decontamination to protect Lake Tahoe from invasive golden mussels.
Appointments for inspection and decontamination throughout the winter are REQUIRED. Booking an appointment has a convenience surcharge of $30 which will be refunded to you after your inspection.
Appointments are for vessels destined for Tahoe regional waterbodies only. If you have any questions, please call the AIS hotline.
