The Tahoe Keeper Fleet is a new extension of the Tahoe Keepers, aimed at involving local businesses in the prevention of aquatic invasive species (AIS) by promoting stewardship and education to locals and visitors alike. The goal of the Fleet program is to strengthen the partnerships between the private and public sectors. Rental and retail shops are on the front lines of the continued fight against aquatic invasive species in the Basin and have been underutilized as a resource in the past. They also offer an effective channel for conducting outreach and education with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Local businesses that join the Tahoe Keeper Fleet put their employees through AIS training and pledge to educate customers about the Tahoe Keepers and preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species. Own a business and want to join the Fleet; contact us today!

Help support local businesses that are doing their part to protect Lake Tahoe.
